Metropolitan Health Group, a primary care clinic, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant / Executive Assistant. This position will play an integral role in supporting our clinical team and executive staff, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, take vitals, and record medical history and symptoms.
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of licensed medical staff.
- Communicate with patients about medication changes and prescription refills.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
- Act as a liaison between patients and the clinical team.
- Provide administrative support to executive staff, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and arranging travel.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Manage and maintain confidential information with discretion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a medical assistant or executive assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English a plus.
